Posted and edited. Sorry for the long break, but I was ill, holidaying, and busy. I've also been editing both multi-chapters of mine regularly since I discovered tons of grammar mistakes whenever I reread my writings. (I tend to break even the rules I know, which is most puzzling.)

(Part Four: "You looked much happier"). Posted and edited. :)

While editing the story, I've merged the short chapters and the chapters I've split into longer chapters so that the fic has 37 chapters now. (Initially, I planned to write nine large parts, each of which consists of eleven chapters. But then the first part turned out shorter than planned while the others were much longer than expected.)

Edited again! Whenever a chapter gets too long, I'll have to struggle with all the typos and grammar mistakes and misleading expressions. I think I'll have to split a chapter after 3000 words to keep my sanity. That, and upload to AO3 first from now on and edit before posting the chapter on Fanfiction.net ( Read more... )

I totally forgot to add the new lyrics for the new part so I added them today. I have also corrected a few new typos (SN discovered "plaqued" instead of "plagued" sob).

I've OCD-edited (=> reread and fixed all the grammar mistakes, typos, and awkward phrases I could find) both "Encounter in Venice" and "Ghost at Twilight". I feel accomplished and dead. XD

So I'm continuing "Ghost at Twilight" and "Encounter in Venice", editing both fics before I write. While I'm often amazed at the sheer amount of stupid grammar mistakes I've made, there are also situations in which I simply can't decide which word to choose ( Read more... )

I've discovered that it's pretty nice to write two fics at the same time if I don't force myself to update both regularly. I simply write whichever one I feel like writing until I need a break.
